How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account and all associated data, follow these steps within the Caroto mobile app:

  1. Open the Caroto app and ensure you are signed in.
  2. Navigate to Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner).
  3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Tap “Delete Account” and confirm the action when prompted.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and immediately erased:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone, profile photo)
  • All vehicle records
  • All ride history and driving analytics
  • Safety scores and score intervals
  • Shopping sessions and receipt data
  • Caroto reward points balance
  • Saved favorites
  • Push notification tokens

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data Retention After Deletion

Some data may be retained after account deletion only where required by law:

  • Transaction and payment records may be retained for up to 5 years for tax compliance
  • Legal hold data may be retained if required by court order or ongoing investigation

All other personal data is deleted immediately upon account deletion.

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by emailing us at privacy@smartwagon.gr. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR.
